Workout
BodyPump @ 8:30
I worked it pretty hard, so I'm thinkin' I'll just make it a one workout day today
Came home and whipped up some lunch
One of my favs - Mission low carb wheat tortilla, spread with light laughing cow Swiss cheese, top with cucumbers, avocado and turkey breast and voila... yummy tortilla wrap! I also added in some strawberries and cocoa roasted almonds and of course, my lemon water. You gotta chug that water if you want to lose the weight!
So, I bought a pair of jeans back in December b/c my old size 8's just kept falling off and I was tired of stealing my hubs belt every time I wanted to wear them, and I was pleasantly surprised to find that I fit very nicely into a size 4 (at American Eagle). For fear of what my size would be at different store, I decided to stop while I was ahead - plus I HATE trying on clothes (something I hope will go away one of these days). I don't know about you, but I always feel like I looked like I'm looking into some kind of fun house mirror, where what I see and what is reality are not the same thing. Ok, so please tell me someone else does this... when walking around, I will point out women that I think I am comparable in size to and ask the hubs "Is that what I look like?" and he always looks at me like I'm crazy and says "no" and that said woman is much larger than I am. Now, I don't know if he's just being nice, or if I really do have that much of a warped sense of self image? Anyway, back to the story... so yesterday the fam headed up to Old Navy, or "Oh Maybe" as my daughter calls it, b/c it is flippin hot here in Texas and I needed some new shorts. I though for sure I would be buying some size 6's, but was FLOORED that the size 4's fit! That is INSANE to me. I look at my body and I do not see what I think/imagine a size 4 would look like. It just makes me wonder if I will ever be completely happy with my body - I really hope that one day I can be.
